This painting is from a personal photograph I took of a boulder formation in the National Forest near Boulder Bay in Big Bear Lake, CA. It's titled "Granite Barrel", because of it's resemblance to a barreling wave. It's 18x24 and was done in acrylics on canvas. Completed in 2017.
